Q: What exactly is an electronic cigarette?
A: It is an electronic device that looks and feels like a cigarette and fulfils the needs of a smoker whilst containing none of the carcinogenic substances found in a normal tobacco-based cigarette.
Q: How does the electronic cigarette satisfy the cravings of a smoker?
A: The cartridges contain nicotine. When the user sucks on the "filter", that nicotine is electronically processed into a smoke-like vapour, which the user then inhales. This will satify the nicotine cravings. The vapour is either tobacco-flavoured or there is a choice of different cartridges with other flavours
Q: So, if I'm inhaling nicotine, how come they are legal to use in public places?
A: They are indeed legal to use anywhere you want. The Health Act of 2006 states "Smoking includes being in possession of lit tobacco or of anything lit which contains tobacco or being in possession of any other lit substance in a form in which it could be smoked". Electronic cigarettes are neither lit nor do they contain tobacco and are therefore not covered by this law.
Q: How long will I have to wait for my product to be delivered?
A: We aim to despatch all orders on the next working day, but are often able to provide same-day shipping.
Q: What do I get in my starter kit?
A: Your starter kit contains everything you need to get you going: the atomisation chamber, two rechargable lithium batteries, a mains charger, 5 regular strength tobacco flavoured cartridges, a velvet carry-case and an instruction booklet.
Q: How long does a cartridge last?
A: That depends on which product you choose. The Gamucci Classic cartridges should last you the equivalent of approx. 20 normal cigarettes and the Gamucci Micro should last the equivalent of approx. 17 normal cigarettes.
Q: How much cheaper is it than smoking ordinary cigarettes?
A: After the initial investment in the starter kit (which comes with 5 cartridges, roughly the equivalent of five packets of cigarettes) your savings will be huge. A packet-a-day smoker (say £6.00/packet) will spend about £180 on conventional cigarettes each month. If he switched to smoking Gamucci, he will only spend around £42 per month. That's a saving of £1650 per year!
Q: Which different flavours and strengths can I choose from?
A: Tobacco and menthol flavoured cartridges are available in high, medium, low and no nicotine content. All other flavours (Apple, Cherry, Coffee, Peach and Turkish Delight) are available in high and no nicotine strengths.
Q: Can I use other manufacturers cartridges and accessories?
A: No, the Gamucci electronic cigarettes are only compatible with the Gamucci supplied cartridges and accessories.
Q: Is the Gamucci safe?
A: Gamucci cartridges contain only water, propylene glycol, nicotine, a scent that emulates a tobacco (or other) flavour and a membrane to suspend the ingredients. Gamucci has been extensively tested and the cartridges have been toxicologically tested. None of the ingredients are considered cancer-causing agents. The product also holds CE & RoHS certifications. Compared to traditional cigarettes and cigars, Gamucci is infinitely safer.
Q: How long will the battery charge last?
A: One battery charge will last for approximately one day with normal use.
Q: Is there a guarantee with the product?
A: The battery and charger come with a 12-month guarantee.
Q: Can I get nicotine poisoning if I overuse the product?
A: No you will not get nicotine poisoning from using the Gamucci. Gamucci has a built in electronic security system which stops automatically if too many inhalations occur within a short time space or if you take an inhalation over 8 seconds long. The nicotine levels per inhalation are considerably lower than traditional cigarettes.
Q: Is the Gamucci a smoking cessation device?
A: Gamucci has never been proven to be a smoking cessation device and is not sold or marketed as such. Gamucci is simply an alternative to smoking that offers reduced health risk, freedom to smoke anywhere, no first or second hand smoke, a virtually odour free environment and huge savings compared to traditional smoking.
Q: What does it mean when the indicator light flashes?
A: The flashing light at the tip of the device indicates that the battery is low and needs to be recharged, or that the security system has been activated.
Q: Is the Gamucci meant for everyone?
A: Gamucci is intended for use only by adults. It is not intended to be used by pregnant women and those that are sensitive to nicotine. |  |
